In January 2010, I was relieved of my job without anyone asking if I thought I needed relief from it. When the shock wears off and the reality sets
in, unemployed is a lonely place to be. To ease that loneliness I
started a blog. And while I started it mostly to help myself heal, just in case
something in there helps you to feel less lonely that I did, I'm sharing
my blog with you.
When It Rains, an involuntary undertaking in unemployment, is about the journey of figuring out how to cope again
when faced with unemployment and then how to believe in yourself again
when you find a job. It is my first and still most popular blog. And one very dear to me as it helped through one of the toughest times of my life.
If you are currently employed, you may find inspiration in this blog. If you are currently unemployed, I am sorry. I hope this blog helps you find comfort and courage. Either way, I highly recommend starting with Unemployment 101, you're not alone and glancing over It's Hunting Season but I hope you
enjoy the entire blog for what it is.
Maybe this will help you in some way.
